Walking Through Fellowship summer sensation to the top of Etzel. Magnificent panoramas of Lake Zurich, Bachtel and the Sihlsee all the way to the triad of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Features: Easy to moderate hiking through forest, meadow and rocky ridgeline; sheltered picnic area for WTF outdoor AA meeting and self-catered lunch. Multiple options to lengthen or shorten the hike.
Route: Schindellegi to Etzel and down to either Pfäikkon or Lachen (circa 4-5 hours)
Difficulty: T1: easy/moderate. 320 meter ascent/ 520 descent
Cost: Free. Pay own travel costs to-from meeting and end points
Weather: Rain or shine – there’s no bad weather, just bring the right gear
Meeting pt: 10:00 Wädenswill BH, track 1 – «P+R Weinrebe» for cars. We will then take S13 SOB (Südostbahn 😉 at 10:10 to Schindellegi (so don’t be late arriving in Wädenswill
End point: Back down to Zurichsee – you can decide for Pfäikkon, Lachen, etc.
Lunch: Bring your own food, drinks and desire for fun and fellowship!
