Zurich and AA Fellowship members
A tour of Dr. C.J. Jung’s home, library and study in Kusnacht is being organized for those who wish to experience where the first link in the chain of events that led to the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous originated. Below is a link to a doodle poll (Deadline 01.04.20) to indicate your level of interest in participating.
Spiritum contra spiritus
In Latin means, “Higher Power Overcomes Alcoholism.” It was this message that Rowland Hazard, who had been Dr. Jung’s patient in 1930, gave to Ebby Thatcher, who carried it to Bill Wilson in November, 1934. Many years later, Bill Wilson wrote a letter to Dr. Jung who immediately replied. They are each fascinating reads for any member of Alcoholics Anonymous:

Tour Location
The Haus C.G. Jung is located at Seestrasse 228, 8700 Küsnacht.
The museum/house is a 1 km walk from Bahnhof Küsnacht which can be reached in 15 minutes by train from Zurich HB (S6 or S-16).
Tour Dates
As offered by the administrators of Haus C.G. Jung for our possible group tour this spring.
There are two possible dates – Saturday 16 May or Saturday 30 May – both would start at 15:00 and last circa 1 ½ hours.
They also confirmed we would be able to see Dr. Jung’s study and his library during the tour.
Tour Costs
The administrators quoted the following group tour prices:
CHF 300.00 for a group of 15-24 participants plus entrance fee (CHF 22.00 per person).
CHF 400.00 for a group of 25-30 participants plus entrance fee (CHF 22.00 pp).
If we are 24 people the cost would be (300/24) + 22 = 34.50 pp.
If we are 25 people the cost would be (400/25) + 22 = 38 pp.
Participation Poll
All Fellowship members and their families are welcome to join the tour. Final tour cost will be shared equally depending on number of participants.
Minimum participants required 15
Maximum participants 30 – first come basis using doodle poll (see below)
